cheap eats

With food and all going up we need to learn to eat cheaper so I will be posting recipes---- So here are 2 of my fav's

BUBBA RUB--3 cups brown suger. 1 1/2 tbl salt . 1/2 tbl pepper 3 tbl chile powder
1 tbl rosemary . 1 tbl thyme 1/2 tbl celery seed. 1 1/2 tbl garlic powder . 1 tbl onion powder. place in mixer bowl mix well and place in wide mouth jar with lid ( you may need to stir with fork after long storage)


1---squirrel and rice

2 squirrel's skined washed and dryed . Cut up into 1/4's
rub with BUBBA RUB let rest in fridge for 2 hrs. place squirrel in bakeing dish with a small 1/2 tsp butter on top of each peice and cover . Bake at 350 for 30 min remove cover and bake 15 min. remove from oven let rest 10 min.

RICE -IN large skillet place 1/4 cp oil ( your choice i like peanut) bring to temp add 1 1/2 - 2 cps rice along with 1 onion diced brown rice and onion add 1 clove garlic diced .1 can mixed veggies drained . add 1 tbl wishtashure sauce stir till mixed well add water per rice package bring to boil . remove from heat and cover let stand 20-25 min till soft .

place rice on plate along with squirrel's ..........serve with fresh big daddy bisquites and ice tea..enjoy maddog............
