We’re Going to Experience Apocalyptic Pain, and It’s Going to Be Out of Our Control

The US Treasury Department tells us that our federal debt is currently sitting at $13.8 trillion. On its most basic level the federal deficit is the difference between current government spending (including interest payments) and total current revenue from all types of taxes.

In 2001, when President George Bush took office, our debt was around $6.5 trillion. Combined with President Obama’s spending packages and commitments, our public and gross debt over the last 10 years has more than doubled.

But that’s not the scary part. What’s scary is how much money we owe when we look at current and future liabilities over the course of the next three decades. Officially, this figure is estimated to be around $150 trillion. Unofficially, according to Boston University economist Laurence Kotlikoff, our future liabilities exceed some $200 trillion. Considering that the tax revenue of the United States is around $4 trillion per year, anyone who’s ever held a balance and made a credit card payment can understand the near impossibility of paying off such a debt.

Senator Tom Coburn is one of many who warns of dire consequences if we can’t get our finances under control:

I think you’ll see a 15 to 18 percent unemployment rate . I think you will see an 8 to 9 percent decline in GDP. I think you’ll see the middle class just destroyed if we don’t do this. And the people that it will harm the most will be the poorest of the poor, because we’ll print money to try to debase our currency and get out of it and what you will see is hyperinflation.

If we don’t take some pain now, we’re going to experience apocalyptic pain, and it’s going to be out of our control. The idea should be that we control it.

We share Senator Coburn’s sentiment. Unfortunately, we’re not as optimistic as he is that any of Congress’ placations will be sufficient enough to help us get out of this hole.

With $4 trillion in annual tax revenue, at today’s debt levels it would literally take 50 years just to pay off the debt that we’ve already committed to - that’s if we stopped all additional spending right now - today. The odds of that are zero - thus our debt liability will continue to grow, as will the interest payments required to service our debt.

The end result of our pulling forward 25 - 50 years of debt is not going to be pretty. As we’ve outlined before, we are on the brink of a catastrophic collapse in the credit of the United States of America. This means that at some point our national credit card is going to be maxed out.

When that will be is difficult to predict. According to Senator Coburn, we’re looking at about 3 - 4 years - which sounds like a viable time line. Really, it all depends on China, because they are the largest buyer of US debt.

But the Chinese are not going to stand by while their US currency reserves become worthless. They are already taking action to counter the effects of a soon-to-be suicided US dollar.

We recently learned that the Chinese have signed agreements with the Russians to drop the dollar as a settlement vehicle, essentially replacing the world’s reserve currency with the Yuan when dealing with each other. We’ve heard many people suggest that this is just a drop in the bucket because of the widespread use of the US dollar - and we agree. However, China is working with other trade partners to do the same thing. And eventually all of those drops in the bucket will fill it up.

Once the Chinese pull the plug there will be only one entity left to support the US dollar - The Federal Reserve. They’ll digitally print trillions of dollars for as long as they can, but sooner rather than later the US dollar will collapse.

And when it does, the end result can only be described as an economic apocalypse.

If the dollar gets to the point it is equivalent to Monopoly money it will be impossible for holders of the bills, as well as our government, to settle transactions with the currency. This means that commerce on a global scale, for all of those expecting to fulfill transactions in US dollars, will come to a standstill.

How will individuals and governments buy food, gas, and other essential goods when the very currency being used to settle the transaction is no longer a viable trade instrument?

Really, it can get that bad. We have no confidence that Congress, the President, the Federal Reserve or US Treasury can fix this problem.

Over the course of the next decade we will see a new US monetary system introduced - just like we saw in 1971, 1944, 1913 and 1785.

This time it will be very disorderly. We can expect trillions in wealth to be wiped out and the many complications that come along with such an event - violence, protests, riots, breakdown in the rule of law and potentially even large-scale war.

If you haven’t done so already, take action to protect your wealth and preserve your well being now, before it hits the fan. Follow the investment strategies of the Chinese and you might have a chance of coming out with something when the chickens come home to roost.

Take possession of hard assets whenever you can, including precious metals, long-term food stores, tools & equipment, and anything else that will retain value when the US dollar loses it.

Sing the health praises of parsley and sage

Those of us who go back a few years likely remember the line about parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme in the huge Simon and Garfunkel hit song about two ill-fated lovers, "Are You Going to Scarborough Fair". Many have speculated that the reference to the four popular herbs was due to their use in Medieval Europe to help cleanse the air and ward off the infamous black plague. Others have thought that the reference to the four herbs was because the combination may have been used as a love potion. Whatever the reason for their inclusion in the popular song, the many health benefits of parsley and sage are worth loving and singing praises about in their own rights.

PARSLEY

Parsley is an amazing medicinal herb with a world of health benefits. The root contains calcium, B-complex vitamins, and iron, which nourish the glands that help regulate the uptake of calcium. It is a source of magnesium, calcium, potassium, vitamin A, beta-carotene, vitamin C and vitamin K.

Among the many benefits reported for parsley are:

*It is a diuretic which helps the body produce more urine to keep the urinary system operating smoothly and which helps prevent problems such as kidney stones and bladder infections.

*It is wonderful for removing toxins from the body, such as heavy metals.

*It is an effective breath freshener. It is believed that the practice of including parsley on a dinner plate began due to its breath freshening abilities and not merely for its decorative effect.

*The root and leaves are good for the liver and spleen.

*It helps relieve bloating during menstruation.

*It provides relief for edema, often helping when other remedies have failed

*Parsley root and seeds help relax stiff joints, often making stiff and unmanageable fingers work again.

*It helps remove gallstones when used properly by taking a pint of the tea daily.

*It is beneficial for the adrenal glands.

*It is a powerful therapeutic aid for the optic nerves, brain and sympathetic nervous system.

*Parsley juice is an excellent tonic for the blood vessels.

Note: It is best to avoid large amounts of parsley if you are pregnant, especially the use of the volatile essential oil.

SAGE

Like rosemary, its sister herb in the mint (Labiatae) family, sage contains a variety of volatile oils, flavonoids and phenolic acids, including rosmarinic acid. The oils found in sage are both antiseptic and antibiotic, helping it fight infections.

Besides the antioxidant and other properties shared with Rosemary, sage`s other health benefits include:

*It is effective for symptoms of menopause, night sweats and hot flashes because of its estrogenic action and because its tannins help dry up perspiration.

*Sage helps provide better brain function and has been used in the treatment of cerebrovascular disease for over a thousand years. It helps provide better recall and research has suggested that it may be an effective option to help treat Alzheimer`s.

*There`s also compelling evidence that sage may be of value to people with diabetes for whom the hormone insulin does not work as efficiently as it should. Lab studies indicate that sage may boost insulin`s action.

* The ability of sage to protect oils from oxidation has also led some companies to experiment with sage as a natural antioxidant additive for cooking oils that can extend shelf life and help avoid rancidity.

In an upcoming article, we will also sing the praises of the other two herbs mentioned in the popular song - rosemary and thyme.

JUST BECAUSE ITS THAT EASY

Hello and welcome to the missouri preppers netwok. I see we are picking more and more followers and am I excited . Many of you know I try and keep my posts pretty simple and i do this for two reasons . First is i live by the rule K.I.S.S -keep is simple stupid. and second is time mine and yours.
So on with todays post is a rehash of an old one prepping in every day life. Man life is as fast paced as ever and well we at home have come up with a few things that help us prep and not command our lives.
First is how we cook ...........
  • We never make less than a gal and a 1/4 of pasta sauce
When we make brisket we cook the whole thing not just half .We do this because we can the left overs. its simple and easy and theres less waste this way .It takes around an hr and a half to can right so after we eat we can whats left and while it's in the presser canner we clean up dinner dishes and spend some family time . Because sitting there watching the little bobber spit off steam is point less you will know if some thing is wrong by the noise it makes ,,

so keep it simple and on the cheap prep on my friends --maddog--

BUGGING OUT FOR HARD TIMES

I have been plagued as of late of the thought of bugging out for economic reason's and have come up with the idea that its not just a good idea its a great idea. As the economic woes pile up as preppers we need a plan . And leaving you money sucking mchome behind makes sence. If i was unable to work i have aflack ( money well spent i have used it before and what they pay is no great sum 1400 a month we made due. now if for some reason i cant work i;e illness they pay me but this time I'm bugging out. I have done the figures and me my wife and our son . my daughters are over 18 and gone off on there own. we could travel the us with one truck and our trailer and live well on about 900 a month 7 if we live cheap that means i would be able to save between 500-700 a month. travel with the seasons to different parts of america and lead a pretty normal life . there would be some changes . we are in the process of turning all our media on to terabite potable drives i;e music and movies . i have a small wasted space in the trailer i;v designed and will install an onboard computer system . the case your computer comes in is for there ease of manufacturer not use so the metal case is not needed and we would still have our laptops but the on board system would be 110 ac or 12 vt dc through a 300 watt inverter all hard mounted in the wasted space and shielded. I'm installing an extra water tank and have 5 propane bottles around xmas i will replace the old stove with a new one (289) and have plans for 2 solar panels on the roof under 1/2 in lexan for protection. we bought a h&h 12 ga and have shortened the barrel to 20 inches . it has a hard mount in the trailer i have added a corbra 25 cb with weather channels and hope to add a shortwave just after xmas . we have a 1800 watt geni with 12 volt for power and a 12 volt fridge i use in my truck it only holds 48 qts.

Some key points i need to point out are
  • keep your tow rig clean as well as your trailer . this might require monthly washes in town.
  • maintance is top priority if it can run its no use to you .
  • personal hygene is just as important as a clean ride . dont look like a bumm clean clothes at all times your best on when driving down the hwy. i have a friend who's a hwy patrolman and they look for dirty cars and dirty people ether one shows them you are not taking care of your car
  • nothing just thrown in the bed of your truck ( i'm building custom boxes for mine ) every thing secure on the trailer
  • good tires and a good spare
  • floor jack and 4 way
  • xtra belts and hoses
  • repair manual
  • tools
  • xtra water and oil
  • replace your belts and hoses now and keep the old ones if there still good( doing so now will teach you how to do the job when and if the time comes) and will give you a good xtra set for later
  • xtra starter and altanator from a junk yard ( have them tested at you local auto parts store) you dont want to be stranded in the middle of nowere and helpless ( belts hoses and xtra starter and alt will fit in a milk create as will you xtra oil and antifreeze...
  • tools to have --craftsman 99 dollar set plus screwdrivers, vice grips x2, channel locks. wire cutters and crimpers . dont skimp on cheap tools .50 cal ammo can for tools not included in 99 dollar set both will fit behind the seat of o pickup ..
  • cleaning supply's in a bucket of some kind
  • rags
  • xtra plugs and wires
  • 2 cans fix a flat, a 12 volt compressor . i carry a small 110 one that can be run off geni. tire plug kit plus i have green slime in my trlr tires .
  • check tires every day and every 2 hrs while moving fro leaks nails . never lower the tire pres on a hot tire . when it cools it will be flat
  • 2 rolls duct tape and black tape
  • 30ft tow strap or log chain in 50 cal ammo can ( i sprayed wd-40 on my chain so grim wont stick
  • leather gloves ( a blown tire is like a razor)
  • sewer drain hose and xtra cap
  • wd-40=== always spray the tire studs before you put the tire back on and ck that the lug nuts are tight after 50 miles
  • tarp to lay on ( i cut up an old boat cover) i also carry hand cleaner (waterless) and coveralls 3 sizes to big ( keeps clothes clean) and take off you shirt first so if oil spills on you it wont soak into your good clothes
  • safety equipment should include-- flares x4 reflector triangles (use them ) fire extenuwer x3 one in trlr ,one in cab and i have one bolted to the fire wall under the hood and of course a firstaid kit in the cab. i also have a tire knocker from a truck stop it has never touched a tire ( wink wink) led light in tool box and a mag light both in the trlr and bolted in the cab (drivers side behind the seat in a piece of pvc w/ a cap on one end.
  • good cb for talking with the truckers
  • personal items
  • this is just the basics i carry much more but is a good starting point for any one be safe---maddog==

EPA Wants to Ban Traditional Ammo

EPA's worried about lead and other toxins from regular amunition. Maybe we should have seen this coming. It seems that the gun control advocates both inside and outside of government come up with all kinds of clever ways to achieve their ends.

Are you ready for back door clamp downs on guns and ammo? How's your ammo supply? What about reloading equipment?

Click here for more info on this story.

But there's more...EPA backed down, and you can click here to view info on that. Even so, we know what's in the hearts and minds of those who would like to disarm America.

Could this whole thing have been a trial balloon to get names of opponents of such a move?

Keep prepping and be careful.

Slice of Time

Tho just a snapshot of the past . A place long forgotten by the people who lived a life of hard times and rugged independence far from the sounds of the city . Yet there stands there testament to life in the desert southwest of El Paso , TX . a city has sprung up around it . Yet there it sits a top a small knoll over looking the progress of man . Silent it still tells the tell of time past . Of sun and sand and maybe love . I took this photo on Aug 7th 2010 in Santa Teresa ,NM behind on of our plants (tyson) i asked why it was spared and no one knew .But there it sits bold as day right behind a multi million dollar factory . left untouched and standing as a testament to what end ????????--maddog

I'm back

I'm back been a lot happing in my life. I finely got hired on at Tyson's long haul div. I never knew how much of the market Tyson's is in .or the quality control they go through . it's been three weeks now and so far so good . Prepping has been slow due to my last job trying to starve me and other drivers out . Next on my list of projects is a hide-a-way gun safe for apartment dwellers and a storage cabinet for storing your home canning in a limited space. the prototypes should be done at the end of next month. our garden is coming along great should be a great crop. I would like to say our prepping has helped us get through these last weeks. Money has been tight so as it is with most of america. We have made some planning changes we will be buying silver to augment my retirement along with some stocks and muni's . We will also invest in local small company's and start up's risky I know but we have little faith in the current market. It will be at least another 6 weeks before we start investing and then on a limited basis. As our cash reserves are gone. SO TO ALL MY PREPPER FRIENDS LIVE WELL LIVE SMART AND KEEP YOUR POWDER DRY......MADDOG,,

Now's the Time to Order Multiplier Onions

It's been a while since I've posted here, but I wanted to give readers a heads up on an important survival gardening tip.

Southern Exposure Seeds is one of the few sources I know of that carries yellow multiplier potato onions. These are well worth having in your garden because they multiply bulbs underground. Save out the largest onions you harvest in the summer, and you'll have onions to plant for next year's crop.

I just harvested a nice bunch of small to medium-sized onions. I'll plant the largest ones in September and will give them some protection over winter so they'll come back next spring.

These yellow onions are milder than most regular varieties. My wife doesn't care for the smaller onions, but I think they're great tossed in with a crock pot of roast beef, potatoes and carrots.

Southern Exposure says to order now while they still have these onions in stock. They'll send them in time for fall planting. They're online at http://www.southernexposure.com .

ABBY SUTHERLAND

Abby has set off her eperb some were in the Indian sea . had a couple of bad days was knocked down at least 3 times and had some kind of engine trouble.. found alive upright but demasted ...bust... I shed a tear for Abby to have come so far and now this. A young lady at sea solo fighting for her dream . I hope she try's again to go solo around the world it would be my honor to donate money to her cause. The courage she has far exceed that of most grownup's and the love and courage of her parent's BRAVO BRAVO most would have locked there child in the basement (padded) so the little GIRL wont be harmed and called a shrink. ABBY is truly one in a million she has courage ,passion and I would bet a strong love of FAMILY, GOD, COUNTY..

I have read several colons that say OMG they put a baby in harms way. I say B.S. a YOUNG LADY has undertaken a task most grown men would piss themselves over ( including myself never would do it solo) and are THREATENED in the manhood. If one of my daughters would have come to me with such an idea I would have let them do it. We all take risks hell getting up in the morning is a risk ,driving, walking,etc... my time is short today so i say .......GO ABBY GO ABBY GO.........................MADDOG............abby's blog is http://soloround.blogspot.com/

Country dont know country

As I sit here in little rock ,ar waiting for my load to arrive by a driver who is never going to get here. It's 0500 and I'm waiting for my coffee to make ( takes 30-45 min in a 12 volt pot) the driver was to be here at 0400 and at 0430 he is still 300 miles out and not moving . If you need to know how to waste a good nites sleep just call. I'm listening to the radio and these guys are singing about being country. In the back woods down in the hollow . Well they know shit I live in the back woods down in the hollow I'm the last telephone pole on the line 10 miles of bad dirt road. heavy rain or heavy snow we cant get out road flooded or hill to slick to get up with out chains and a four wheel drive. Power loss for up to three weeks (winter of 04 or 05). I live here because it's cheap. I live a very modest lifestyle HILLBILLY to most my floors are wood for mud sticks to carpet. I piss on the big tree because its easier on the septic system. I hang dead animals from the tree for skinning ,We dont lock the front door because I dont know if it works.we drive old cars and trucks the newest is my wifes 91 ford explorer because the new shit wont hold up. I have two chain saws three spliting mauls and a barn full of hand tools. WE have a large garden, we raise rabbits for meat.I shoot and kill wild animal's for food. And I dont need shit from no one the rest of the world can kiss my HILLBILLY badonkadonk. Thats country my children are well feed would run naked if allowed and my inlaws don't bath. We belive in family god and guns. We take care of our own .We dont get no govment money we pay taxes and I could careless for the man in Chicago with his tin cup out die or get a frigen job . No I'm not a prick never turn a soal from my table. We feed most of my wifes family because only her uncle billy has a job and is a BINGO feind . So we take care of our own THATS COUNTRY .I dont need to worry about my wifes care breaking down if she has a flat SHE changes it . if the trany goes out her brother would be there in an hour or two to fix it . We take care of our own . We run low on wood while I'm on the road a load will be delivered asap with no money needed . We will pay later for we take care of our own. Sister inlaws mom needs moved come get one of my trucks you owe me shit. We dont turn family away NOW THATS COUNTRY ---maddog___P,S a little strong today with my words lack of sleep --peace

Survival Knives

Survival Knives are sold a dime a dozen. These are useless as tits on a boar hog easily broke and never stays sharp . Lets break it down to the basics. What are we seeking in a knife/ survival Knife. We want safety that means we want a knife with a quality blade made to the highest standards .We want a solid grip one that is comfortable in our hands . We want a knife that retains its edge and we want one we can afford. We don't need RAMBO'S Knife.try and skin a rabbit with one of them things. We have been sold a bill of goods by smart advertisers who assume that like all things america we need big. In almost a survival situations you wont have to kill a barr with your bare hands and a knife two foot long. Lets look back to our grandfathers to help set the tone for our knife . Granddad didn't pack some five pound hunk of steel on his hip . It was a knife with a blade four to six inches long a good grip and leather sheath. Some of these were bring homes from the war including the mighty KBAR marine corp fighting knife. Today we still have choices that fall into this group and at fifty bucks or less and can be bought at any wally world . These include the BUCK 119 ,GERBER GATOR or the KBAR who has also entered in to making hunting knives for under thirty five bucks . GERBER is also
offering a good knife for around twenty bucks called the PROFILE II . S.O.G is another great brand . My point is get a good one . My grandpa carried a BUCK as well as my dad he has carried his thirty plus years . I have two BUCK 119's I carry one in my B.O.B and my wife carry's the other . I do carry a WWII Nazi officers knife my grandpa's brother used on said officer blade forever stained made of the finest steel on this planet razor sharp and the last time i sharpened it was some time in the late eighty's I skin rabbit and deer with it on a regular basis . So no mater witch one is your choice buy a good knife your LIFE DEPENDS ON IT.....maddog

The Sunny Side Of Being A Kid

I just had a great read over at www.thewilderboys.blogspot.com . Funny how at 40 it seams that just a short time ago I was young and running wild with my brothers. But the years pass and we grow up to become adults and soon forget the fun of being a child. Have we become so involved with the day to day that we forgot what true fun is? A roll in the mud ? A swim down at the beach ? Just you and your brothers up before dawn planning your next pirate raid or how we wont get busted this time for ridding all the way over to knox berry farms on the RTD (the bus) just to ride the new roller coaster? The gifts we have while being young we leave laying around and forget as the sands of time progress. Carefree and wild lost to the grind . we have alot to learn from these boys .We have work to do but we can have fun doing it too. So slide on over there and remember what is was to be young. ........maddog.......

OIL,OIL,OIL AND MORE ABOUT OIL

STOP RUNNING IN CIRCLES! STOP! THE WORLD IS NOT GOING TO END ! THERE WAS A EXPLOSION IN THE GULF AND A OIL RIG SANK. THEY ARE HAVING TROUBLE CLOSING THE HEAD ( THAT'S THE PART OIL COMES OUT) .,I GREW UP AROUND OIL MY GRANDFATHER WAS A TOOL PUSHER AND RAN A SMALL LEASE ( OIL LEASE IS A OIL FIELD ) IN CALIFORNIA. THEY HAVE A CONTROL HEAD ON THEM AND THIS ONE MUST HAVE BEEN DAMAGED . A CONTROL HEAD CAN TAKE GREAT ABUSE SO THIS ONE TOOK ONE HELL OF A HIT. OIL IS THE LIFE BLOOD OF OUR NATION AND THE FALSE TRUTHS WE SEE ON THE 5 O'CLOCK NEWS IS BS . THESE COMPANY'S EXPLORE FOR OIL IT COST AROUND 300,000-500,000 DOLLARS PER HOLE DRILLED . AND FOR EVERY 10 HOLES DRILLED 2.5 WILL PRODUCE OIL. WHY DO PEOPLE THINK THAT A OIL COMPANY IS SO OLD GUY SITTING ON TOP OF A MOUNTAIN OF MONEY. AN OIL COMPANY IS JUST REGULAR PEOPLE YOU,ME WE BUY STOCK IN A COMPANY .
OH BY THE WAY MORE OIL LEAKS OUT OF THE GROUND THAN IS SPILLED BY THESE BAD OIL COMPANY'S. THEY HOLD SAFETY VERY VERY SERIOUS FOR ANY THING THAT STOPS THE FLOW CAN COST BILLIONS IN LOST REVENUE IF THEY SHUT DOWN A WELL WORKERS PAY DOESN'T STOP OIL WORKERS GET PAID VERY WELL .WITH BENEFIT'S WE COULD ONLY DREAM OF. WE NEED OIL WITH OUT IT AMERICA DIES I DON'T LIKE IT BUT FOR NOW IT'S WHAT WE HAVE . WE KEEP TRYING TO FORCE TECHNOLOGY AND THAT'S FAR FROM SAFE (3 MILE ISLAND) MISTAKES WILL BE MADE BUT TO TURN A BLIND EYE TO OIL. AS A SOURCE OF POWER WOULD BE LIKE STOPPING COAL MINING BECAUSE OF THAT CAVE IN LAST MONTH. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A TOTALLY SAFE ENERGY SOURCE TO MAKE COAL MINING TOTALLY SAFE WE WOULD HAVE TO STOP ALL MINING SO WISE UP---

MADDOG FOR CONGRESS

I PAUL E DANNALDSON WOULD LIKE TO RUN FOR STATE CONGRESS. I HAVE ZERO EXPERIENCE IN POLITICS. I'M A INDEPENDENT CONSERVATIVE . I CAN ONLY PROMISE TWO THINGS I WILL VOTE TO NOT SPEND US INTO THE NINTH LEVEL OF HELL. AND WILL WORK TO KEEP TAXES LOW IN THE GREAT STATE OF MISSOURI..ABOUT ME I'M AS DOWN TO EARTH AS A PERSON CAN GET . I BELIEVE IN FAMILY, CHILDREN AND THE RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE TO BE NUMBER ONE . OUR NATION WAS FOUNDED AS A REPUBLIC TO BE GOVERNED BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE. THE RIGHT TO BARE ARMS IS A GOD GIVEN RIGHT NOT ONE GIVEN TO US BY THE STATE. WE LIVE IN ONE OF THE GREATEST STATES IN THE UNION. WERE A PERSON CAN BECOME WHAT EVER THEY WANT. I BELIEVE IN A HAND UP NOT A HAND OUT . OUR SYSTEM IS IN NEED OF A MAJOR UPDATE. BEING POOR IS NOT A CRIME BUT THE FACT THE SYSTEM KEEPS YOU POOR IS THE CRIME. WE HAVE FOLKS HERE IN THIS STATE WHO WANT OFF OF THE DOLE. BUT THE MINUTE THEY START TO GET OFF THE SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM REMOVES ALL HELP AND LEAVES THEM WORSE OFF AFTERWORDS THAN WHEN THEY STARTED.

SO MY PLAN IS TO PUSH FOR WHAT I CALL WORK YOUR SELF FREE..
EDUCATION WILL TOP THE LIST AS WILL JOB SKILLS TRAINING
  • ALL WELFARE RECEIVERS WILL ATTEND GED,AND LIFE SKILLS CLASSES. WHERE THEY WILL LEARN TO BALANCE A CHECK BOOK AND MAKE A BUDGET. THESE CLASSES WILL BE 3 TIMES A WEEK
  • TWO DAYS A WEEK WILL BE GIVE BACK TIME DOING WORK FOR THE STATE OR COUNTY OR CITY
  • WE WILL ENLIST THE HELP OF LOCAL LEADERS TO PROVIDE TRAINING ON JOB EXPECTATIONS AND HOW TO FILL OUT AN APPLICATION
  • AFTER THEY FIND A JOB WE WILL NOT REMOVE THE SAFETY NET BUT BE THERE FOR THE PERSON WITH FOOD STAMPS (NOW WHEN YOU GET A JOB BY- BY AID) AT THERE CURRENT LEVEL . WE WILL PROVIDE CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE , TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE ( BUS PASSES OR A SMALL FUEL OFF SET ) AND THEY CAN STAY ON MEDICARE .
  • RENTAL ASSISTANCE

THIS IS NOT FREE OR CHEAP IT WILL COST MONEY. UNDER THE CURRENT SYSTEM WE GET NO RETURN ON THE MONEY WE SPEND . WE GIVE THE HAND OUT WHAT I PROPOSE IS A HAND UP . THE SYSTEM REQUIRES YOU BE IN ABJECT POVERTY AND PLANS TO KEEP YOU THERE . MY SYSTEM COST MONEY NOW BUT THE RETURNS WILL FAR OUT WEIGH THE COST . THIS SYSTEM WOULD GET 70PERCENT OF THE FOLKS OFF OF THE WELFARE SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM I PROPOSE WILL ONLY LAST 180 DAYS FROM THE TIME A PERSON GETS A JOB. UNDER THE CURRENT SYSTEM WE SET FOLKS UP TO FAIL WE REMOVE ALL AID AND HAVE NOT PROVIDED A CURE FOR THE ROOT PROBLEM . WITH MY SYSTEM A PERSON CAN GET ON THERE FEET AND BECOME A USEFUL MEMBER OF THE STATE . A HAND UP NOT A HAND OUT THEY WORK THEMSELVES FREE OF THE BONDS OF POVERTY.

SO IF ANY ONE KNOWS ABOUT RUNNING FOR OFFICE PLEASE CONTACT ME AT 1-417-342-6318 IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HELP ME GET ELECTED OR HAVE WORKED IN POLITICS GIVE ME A CALL I NEED ALL THE HELP YOU CAN GIVE ---PAUL (MADDOG) DANNALDSON THANK YOU

SMART PREPPING

WE COVER PREPPING FROM ALL SIDES WHAT TO STORE BUT NOT WHEN OR HOW. SO I'M STARTING A NEW SERIES CALLED SMART PREPPING WE WILL COVER DIFFERENT DISHES EVERY WEEK AND HOW TO PUT IT AWAY FOR LATTER. SO LETS BEGIN

LAST TIME I WAS HOME MY WIFE HAD BOUGHT A LARGE HAM FOR DINNER MUCH MORE THAN WE COULD CONSUME IN A SINGLE MEAL SO WE HAD DINNER AND CANNED THE REST 6 QT JARS PUT UNDER THE BED.

WE STARTED WITH A LARGE UN SMOKED UNCOOKED HAM AND WE RUBBED IT DOWN IN BUBBA RUB PLACED INSIDE AN OVEN BAG AND COOKED AT 240 FOR 9 HRS. WE RUBBED IT DOWN THE NITE BEFORE AND PLACED IT IN THE FRIDGE OVER NITE IN THE OVEN BAG WRAPPED IN 2 WALMART SACKS. IN THE MORNING WE PUT THE HAM IN OUR ROASTER PAN OVEN BAG AND ALL ADDED A CAN OF COKE SEALED THE BAG AND COOKED ALLDAY WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR DINNER WE PULLED THE HAM OUT SNIPED OPEN THE BAG REACHED IN AND PULLED THE BONE. AT THIS POINT ALL THE MEAT IS LYING IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BAG WE PICKED OUT ENOUGH FOR DINNER AND PLACED THE REST IN A LARGE STOCK POT COVERED IN ITS JUICES TO STAY MOIST.
AFTER DINNER THE FUN BEGIN .

WE STARTED WITH 8 CLEAN WARM JARS. WE THEN TAKE A LARGE PAN AND DRAIN THE HAM JUICES INTO THE BOWL THROUGH A COLANDER LEAVING THE HAM EASY TO CAN. WE RETURN THE JUICES TO THE STOCK POT AND ADD 4-6 CUPS HOT WATER AND BRING TO A BOIL.

WE GOT DOWN OUR PRESHER COOKER ( THANKS FRED) AND PUT IT ON THE STOVE ABOUT 1/3 FULL WATER ON A HIGH HEAT.

AFTER THE HAM JUICES START TO BOIL WE TURN OFF THE HEAT AND LADDIE THE JARS FULL TO WITH IN 1 INCH OF THE TOP. PUT ON THE LIDS AND RINGS AND PLACED 4 JARS IN THE PRESHER COOKER LOCK DOWN THE LID SET THE POT AT 10 LBS AND AFTER IT STARTS TO STEAM START THE CLOCK 1 1/2 HRS. AFTER WE START WE SIT AND PLAY GAMES OR WATCH TV TALK WHAT EVER .

AFTER 1 1/2 HR WE TURN OFF THE HEAT AND LET THE PRESHER BLEED OFF ( SAFETY NOTE THE LIDS ON THE JARS WERE TIGHT WHEN YOU PUT THEM IN THE COOKER AND ARE VERY HOT DO NOT BANG JARS OR TRY TO COOL WITH WATER THEY WILL EXPLODE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) WE PLACE A TOWEL ON THE DRYER AND PUT THE JARS ON THE TOWEL TO COOL ( CONTENTS WILL CONTINUE TO BOIL IN JARS) USE JAR LIFTERS. WE LET OUR JARS SIT OUT FOR 6 - 7 DAY TO MAKE SURE THEY SEAL AND THE TOPS DON'T POP UP IN THE CENTER . IF THIS HAPPENS TOSS OUT .

NOW NOT WANTING TO WAST SPACE IN THE NEXT LOAD WE HAD SOME CABBAGE SOUP LEFT OVER FROM LUNCH WE RE HEATED IT AND FILLED 2 JARS SO I WOULD HAVE A FULL COOKER ( 4 JARS) AND REPEATED THE ABOVE STEPS EXCEPT WHEN THE 1 1/2 HR TIME WAS UP WE SHUT OFF THE HEAT AND WENT TO BED LEAVING THE JARS TO COOL IN THE COOKER .

SO AS A RECAP WE PUT UP 8 JARS OF GREAT FOOD AT NO EXTRA COST AND VERY LITTLE XTRA EFFORT . WE WASTED NO FOOD SAVED SOME MONEY AND ADDED TO OUR PREPS . WE DID THE SAME THING THE NEXT NITE 4 JARS OF BRISKET SLICES WITH SPUDS AND MANO SALSA ( NOTE ONLY 3 JARS SEALED SO I HAD BRISKET FOR LUNCH THE NEXT DAY ) SO IN 2 DAYS I PUT UP 11 JARS AND GAVE MYSELF A LOT OF PEACE OF MIND. NEXT TIME WE WILL COVER MADDOG SURVIVAL SOUP MIX..

BUBBA RUB --- IS BROWN SUGAR SALT PEPPER SAGE ROSEMARY THYME AND CHILI POWDER WITH ONION AND GARLIC POWDER TO TASTE. FOOD IS NOT JUST FOOD ITS LOVE SHARE SOME-------MADDOG

The well armed Prepper UPDATE

Over the years we have talked about the well armed prepper. What guns we should have in your preps. I fell I have failed my readers in this area and will make amends today. After having talked to some friends of mine who teach personal protection classes . We talked alot about the untrained person and they pointed out some very good points I must cover first in the use of shotguns for defence . there is a human condition called SHORT STROKING of a pump shotgun --- this accrues when the slide is not fully slid all the way back and then moved forward causing a incomplete ejection and a jam when the next round is chambered. It has been told to me that the only way to overcome this is practice lots and lots of practice--- I would have never have thought of this because I shoot a lot 300 rnds last time I was home and i do this regularly.
So if you don't practice this can happen to you when it counts there for them who don't have the time to practice I would recommend you get a single shot topper ( most shotgun battles end after the first shot) --maddog

I'm a Cowboy and a AMERICAN

I don't wear chaps but I do wear jeans.

I ride a different kind a horse.

I don't push forty head of bad tempered steers.

I do push forty ton of steel.

Like the cowboy of old I"m

devoted to my craft. For I am a cowboy.

Rain,snow,or shine I'm here.

Be it day or nite, hot or cold

I push my load to market.

I like the cowboy of old

have the greatest view of our

nation. Big bold beautiful

AMERICA.

My country my land my home.

The land of my fathers who would

weep for the nation the freely gave of blood

and LIFE to ensure FREEDOM for the son's.

What do I have to give? and to whom do I have it to share?

I would give of my life for my AMERICA.

THE LAND OF THE FREE.

FREEDOM a word that's on its way out.

I cry for my brothers who went

before me . Were there lives wasted?

At what point do Americans stand up?

I'm standing on the apex screaming

and my voice go's unheard . My body

shakes with anger at the silence.

I have seen America through a windshield

and she is mighty . Her PEOPLE strong

but still I stand alone as darkness

fall's on our nation I will fade to black

a footnote in some paper lost to history.

My line a SLAVE to the STATE.

forgotten are the HERO'S

Falling victim to time and lost are

the pages of the book of liberty.

for she to will be gone....

I AM A COWBOY AND A FORGOTTEN AMERICAN.

FOOOOD and GUNS

Sorry been in a slump as of late. A large black hole I had to overcome but all better now. So here you see dinner from the last time I was home and in the style of http://www.mausersandmuffins/ FOOD and GUNS

Nasty gooey enchiladas (mild) smothered in cheese. Talk about a pick up after five weeks on the road. Made with taco seasoned turkey meat .( a buck a pound) Olives onions and green chilli's wrapped around by love. Food is not just fuel for your body but a great healer.
HERE is the red ones fresh from the oven ...(wipe your mouth)

And no table is set till the utensils are in place. Food and guns a great combo .There will be peace at my table.

The cat (sneezy) expresses my feelings after dinner comfy spot and a nap. We all have slumps but remember it will get better . as a side note i also got a .50 cal bp rifle can't wait to get home to shoot it. Be safe and have fun in the kitchen ----maddog

Preppers are Getting Noticed

It's amazing to me that one of the Web sites I visit regularly for news has links to British newspapers. Is it because our media doesn't cover these stories? Here's one example. Click here to read a British paper's observations on preppers.

ME AND WHY I DO WHAT I DO

Hello my name is Maddog. Let me tell you a little about myself. They call me MADDOG because when like a dog I bite....I"m a free thinking AMERICAN male who wish to survive what ever is thrown at me . I have been a life long study of people, guns, self defense, trapping and planing for the unthinkable..I'm have shoot everything from the .22 short to the mighty 50 bmg. I have survived in climates from the high Rocky's to the heat of the low dessert. I love the out of doors and have walked untraveled trails and seen first hand what kills a person in the wilds of America. all to often the basics is missed we as a people have moved away from the summer vacation with mom and dad . To a summer of TV and theme vacation's were we are safe from reality. Drugs are the great escape we pop pain killers dished out by the hand full for the slightest pain. a quick trip to a perfect place. Weed to mellow out and chill all an escape a cop out. I live with what life hands me good or bad I face it head on. you can leave the drama home for to survive the truth is your most lethal weapon . It can give you strength and the courage to face what might come. I prep because i know the truth . there are no sure things stuff happens and i know I'm on my own me and mine know that what comes we will face together good bad twenty years I and my wife (angie) have endured pain (the lose of a child) sorrow (oldest making bad move) and happiness ( our 3 healthy kids 20,18and 4 ) we have faced it clear of head and grown stronger as people and a couple. I prep for the day I can't sounds dumb i know but there will come a time when by nature or man the shelves will be empty . A time were money won't buy you anything because there wont be anything to buy ..........WHY that is the million dollar question ? I would have to say i prep because in my hart of souls it is the right thing to do . I fell responsible for myself and that of my family not just the providing food and shelter but protection as well. so now you know a little about me now on to the good stuff ----------------MADDOG

"The Heirloom Gardener" Features Info on Drying Food and Saving Seeds

I'm a fan of "The Heirloom Gardener" magazine, but the new Winter 2010 issue has a couple articles of particular interest for preppers. I won't try to summarize them, but want to let you know about them.

One article is on drying fruits and vegetables, which you can do in your oven or in a dehydrator. There are several tips and do's and don'ts.

Another article discusses starting your own seed bank. This is a good idea because of the genetic modifications going on with numerous seeds. It goes beyond hybridization. Saving and storing seeds doesn't have to be complicated, but again there are pitfalls to avoid, such as moisture. Among tips discussed is how to store seeds in your freezer properly.

"The Heirloom Gardener" is published here in Missouri and is well worth the $12 per year subscription price. Check them out at http://www.theheirloomgardener.com/. The site has been updated, and you may be able to read these articles online. I hasten to add I have no vested interest in promoting the magazine. It's just a good gardening magazine I recommend.

Also, if you're looking for survival seeds prepackaged and vacuum sealed, Hometown Seeds has the lowest price I've seen at just under $35. Look for the Survival Seeds package at http://www.hometownseeds.com/ . Just a word of disclaimer. While I promote this company on my own blog, I make nothing from mentioning them here. I simply pass on the info for whatever it's worth.

NOW IS THE TIME

TO PREP DONT DELAY WITH ALL THE B.S. GOING ON I FELL THAT TIME IS SHORT. T HAVE NOW CRYSTAL BALL BUT WE ARE HEADED FOR A WORLD OF HURT. I FELL SMALL GROUPS WILL FARE FAR BETTER THAN A LONE FAMLIY . MORE MOUTHS TO FEED BUT ALSO A BETTER WORK FORCE. IN WHAT I SEE YOU WILL NEED THESE XTRA HANDS AND MINDS WHO EACH BRINGS EXTRS AND DIFFRENT SKILL SETS. BUT SHOULD ALSO BE INDEPENDENT OF EACH OTHER WITH OWN GARDENS AS WELL AS A GROUP CROP ON SHARES. EACH FAMLIY PULLS THERE OWN WEIGHT . BUT A GROUP AT LARGE . A VILLAGE BY ALL STANDARDS . WITH EACH FAMLIY HAVEING A VOICE IN THE VILLAGE . THE BALANCE OF SELF AND VILLAGE WILL NEED TOBE MAINTAINED. AS AN EXAMPLE LETS SAY ME AND TOM ARE PART OF THE SAME VILLAGE . TOM WANTS A LARGE HOME AND I A SMALL HOME WELL THE BURDEN FALLS TO TOM TO PROVIDE FOR HIS FAMILY INCLUDING HEATING WATER AND FOOD FOR HIS HOME . WERE MY HOME REQUIRES LESS WOOD TO HEAT IT DO'S NOT FALL TO ME TO HELP TOM CUT WOOD FOR HIS HOME . WE CUT WOOD TOGETHER FOR SAFTY AND SECURITY ONLY. BUT I CUT MORE WOOD TAN I CAN USE AND TOM GREW MORE FOOD THAN HE NEEDS WE CAN TRADE OR SWAP FOR THIS AND OTHER SERVICES WITH EACH OTHER A COUPLE QUILTS FOR WOOD A GOOD AXXE FOR FOOD ECT... MADDOG

REAL LIFE SKILLS

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A MOMENT TO SAY THANKS TO ALL WHO FOLLOW MY BLOG . I TEND TO GET A LITTLE LONG WINDED WITH MY WRITINGS BUT I'M VERY SINCERE IN THE FACT I WANT YOU ALL TO PROSPER IN WHAT EVER YOU DO. WITH MY WRITINGS I HOPE TO ENLIGHTEN NOT PUT DOWN OR BELITTLE I AM HARD IN MY WORDS BECAUSE MOTHER NATURE IS A CRUEL LADY AND NOT TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY . SHE WILL KILL IF YOU ARE UNPREPARED AND MIGHT KILL YOU ANYWAY JUST BECAUSE SHE CAN. I HAVE OVER THE YEARS ENJOYED THE OUTDOORS AND TWICE NEEDED MEDICAL ATTN . ONCE I GOT FROSTBITE WHEN I FELL THROUGH SOME THIN ICE AND DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO LUCKY FOR ME SOME PASSERBY HELP ME DOWN TO MY RIDE. AND THE SECOND A 2 DAY TRIP TURNED INTO A 8 DAY TRIP WHEN I BROKE MY ANKLE 22 MILES FROM THE MAIN TRAIL . I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE CDF FOR FINDING ME 300 YARDS FROM MY BIKE . I WAS 6 DAYS OVER DUE AND THEY JUST THEN DECIDED TO LOOK FOR ME . SO ALL WAYS LEAVE A TRIP PLAN WITH FAMILY ALSO FILE A PLAN WITH THE LOCAL RANGER STATION KEEP TO YOUR TIME TABLE IT COULD SAVE YOUR LIFE .

I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A LOOK AT A FEW SURVIVAL CASES AND SEE WERE THEY WENT WRONG.

CASE ONE INVOLVES A FAMILY OF 4 WHO TAKES A SHORT CUT THROUGH THE BACK COUNTRY IN THE SMALL MINI VAN BECOMES STUCK IN THE SNOW NO SUPPLIES TAKEN . HUSBAND STRIKES OUT TO FIND HELP GONE 3 DAYS FOUND 200 BEHIND CAR. IN SITE ALL COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED BY STAYING ON MAJOR HIGHWAY. NO 4X4 , NO PREPS TRIED TO RESCUE SELF , NO OUT DOORS EXPERIENCE, OUT COME DEAD. FIRST MAKE A PLAN TELL SOME ONE AND FOLLOW THE PLAN. SECOND HAVE A 7 DAY BUG-OUT KIT I;E XTRA BLANKETS FOOD WATER FIRE. SECOND NEVER LEAVE THE CAR ONLY AS A LAST RESORT SET THE SPARE ON FIRE TO DRAW ATTN TO YOU SECOND AS A LAST DITCH EFFORT SET THE FORREST ON FIRE SOME ONE WILL COME . DON'T TRY TO WALK OUT UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER OUT YOU WILL NEED A COMPASS. YOU SEE YOU TAKE A LONGER STEEP WITH YOUR RIGHT LEG UNLESS YOUR A LEFTY THEN ITS YOU LEFT AND WITH OUT A COMPASS YOU WILL WALK IN A CIRCLE . YOU CANT HELP IT I DO IT EVERY ONE DOE'S IT. SECOND KNOW YOUR LIMIT'S AND DON'T EXCEED THOSE LIMIT'S. BOTH MY 4X4 AND MY WIFE'S EXPLORER ARE MODIFIED FOR OFF ROAD USE AS WE LIVE DOWN 10 MILES OF BAD DIRT ROAD AND REQUIRE MORE FROM OUR CARS ON A DAILY USE.AND WE CARRY EQUIPMENT TO MATCH THE WEATHER AND SEASON I WOULD NEVER STRIKE OUT ACROSS COUNTRY WITH OUT A SHOVEL ,AX,PICK ,HI-BOY COMA LONG AND WINCH ALONG WITH MY TOOL BOX AND SOME SPARE PARTS. IN COMING POSTINGS I WILL SHOW OUR REDESIGNED OFF ROAD BOXES FOR OUR EXPLORER THEY FIT THE ROOF RACK AND KEEP EVERY THING NICE AND NEAT . WE WERE USING A SINGLE BOX I MADE YEARS AGO . BUT THE NE ONE WILL SEPARATE TOOLS AND LUGGAGE MADE OF WOOD ITS VERY REGARD SO TILL NEXT TIME PEACE--------MADDOG

BASIC SKILLS

THERE ARE THREE VERY BASIC SKILLS AS A PEPPER I FELL ARE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT TO KNOW. IN ORDER THEY ARE FIRE, SHELTER , FOOD THE REST ARE CREATER COMFORTS. SO ASK YOURSELF ...... CAN I PROVIDE THE TREE BASICS WITH NO MORE THAN WHAT I HAVE IN MY POCKETS ? I HOPE FOR MOST OF YOU THE ANSWER WILL BE YES BUT IN TRUTH MOST WILL ANSWER NOOOOOO!!!!!.

SO TO THE POINT OF PREPPING IT'S NOT JUST SITTING ON YOUR BUTT BUYING WALMART EVERY WEEK AND SAYING I'M PREPARED.SO LETS START SIMPLE DO YOU CARRY A GOOD POCKET KNIFE? DO YOU CARRY A BIC? DO YOU CARRY A SMALL TIN? ALL THINGS YOU SHOULD CARRY ON YOU EVERY DAY AND I MEAN EVERY DAY WITH OUT FAIL TO WORK,CHURCH,SHOPPING AND THE PARK.. FIRST THE KNIFE A GOOD ONE BUCK ,CASE ,GERBER OR LEATHERMAN ( I DONT LIKE KNIVES WITH BLADES THAT DONT LOCK FOR SURVIVAL). I CARRY A BUCK PILOT . FIRE MAKINGS FLINT AND STEEL , ANY MAG BLOCK OR EVEN A BIC . I SMOKE SO I CARRY A ZIPPO AND A FLINT AND STEEL. AND THIRD THE ALTOIDS CAN IT SHOULD INCLUDE INSIDE TINDER ,MIRROR ( I HAVE CUT DOWN A METAL ONE AND GLUED IT TO THE LID ON THE OUTSIDE)FISHING KIT ( LINE SINKER AND HOOKS ( I TAPE THE SINKERS AND HOOKS TO THE INSIDE OF THE LID.) CASH (2 TENS LAID FLAT IN THE BOTTOM) BAND-AIDS , SPARK LITE (FIRE STARTER) YES I HAVE 2, COMPASS,2 3FT SNARES (WIRE) AND A SEWING KIT (NEEDLES TAPED ON INSIDE OF LID. 2 TURNS OF BLACK TAPE TO SEAL IT INTO MY POCKET IT GO'S WITH THESE THREE SIMPLE TOOLS I CAN PROVIDE THE 3 BASICS ANY WERE PLACE OR TIME.

OF COURSE YOU WILL NEED A FORTH ITEM THAT CAN NOT BE BOUGHT OR MADE . THIS THING MUST BE LEARNED NOT BY READING OR WATCHING BUT BY DOING. AND THAT IS SKILL NOT WHEN YOU NEED IT BUT NOW . YOU MUST MUST MUST GET OUT INTO THE FIELD AND LEARN PRIMITIVE SKILLS . FOR THIS EXERCISE YOU WILL NEED A SMALL BACK PACK AND 50^ OF 550, SMALL LED LIGHT 5 BUCKS AT WALMART , ONE GOOD LOCK BLADE KNIFE ,ONE 8X10 TARP 1 SLEEPING BAG ,MESS KIT,32OZ WATER BOTTLE ,ONE SMALL AX OR LARGE (GOOD QUALITY) 45+ DOLLARS FIXED BLADE KNIFE ( I RECOMMEND A COLD STEEL TRAIL MASTER OR BUCK 119 )2 1 QT SIZE ZIP LOCK BAGS IN THESE YOU WILL PLACE FOOD FOR THE NEXT 24 -36 HRS . AND OF COURCE YOUR ALTOIDS TIN AND WHAT IS IN YOUR POCKETS ( THE BACK PACK I WOULD USE CAN BE GOT AT WALMART IN THE SPORTING GOODS DEPT MADE BY REMINGTON AND COST 20 BUCKS. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT DO THIS IN SUB FREEZING WEATHER UNTIL YOU HAVE BECOME COMFORTABLE IN YOUR SKILLS YOU WILL I REPEAT YOU WILL DIE YOU DO NOT HAVE THE LEVEL OF SKILL TO SURVIVE SUB ZERO TEMPS . I HAVE ADVANCED WILDERNESS SKILLS IN BOTH DESSERT AND HIGH MOUNTAIN TERRAIN AND WOULD NOT RISK IT WITH OUT AT LEAST 2 REFRESHER OUTINGS OF MULTI DAY LENGTH.

NOW GO TO THE INTERNET AND TYPE IN BOW AND DRILL TAKE NOTES ALSO SEARCH YOU TUBE http://mdc.mo.gov/teacher/highered/crafts/craft17.htm GOOD LINK FOR THE BOW DRILL . FOR MISSOURI FOLK THIS IS A GOOD RESOURCE LINK ON PLANT'S FROM MISSOURIhttp://mdc4.mdc.mo.gov/applications/MDCLibrary/MDCLibrary2.aspx?NodeID=1995 ALSO CK THIS SITE MY FAVORITEhttp://www.primitiveways.com/survival_skills.html SO HIT THE FIELD AND GAIN THOSE SKILLS BE SAFE AND STAY ALIVE. ..................MADDOG
