FEAR AND POWER / BEEF JERKY

FEAR THE DESTROYER OF NATIONS. FEAR OF THERE NEIGHBORS, FEAR OF DROUGHT, FEAR OF UFO'S AND THE BIGGEST ON OF ALL FEAR OF THE PEOPLE . THIS IS THE ONE THAT GOVERMENTS FEAR MOST THE PEOPLE. FOR IN THE HANDS OF THE PEOPLE LIE'S POWER .THIS TYPE OF POWER CAN NOT BE BOUGHT FOR ANY SUM. UNLESS YOU LIVE IN ILLINOIS THEN EVERY THINGS FOR SALE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A GOVERMENT SO CORUPT AS ILLINOIS . I ALL WAYS THOUGHT NEW ORLENS WAS TO BUT WHAT DO I KNOW. I KNOW THAT AS LONG AS WE KEEP ELECTING THESE FOLKS TO POWER THE CYCLE WILL GO ON AND WE NOT THEM ARE AT FAULT. FOR WE HAVE THE POWER. I WILL AGREE THAT OVER TIME THEY HAVE BEEN TAKING MORE FOR THEM SELVES AND OUT OF OUR HANDS. THE FIGHT STARTS AT HOME WITH YOUR LOCAL ELECTIONS BE INVOLVED . YOU SHOULD RUN FOR LOCAL OFFICE WE HERE WILL SUPPORT YOU . I'M GOING TO BE TAKING LAW ENFORCEMENT CLASSES SO I CAN RUN FOR SHERRIF .I WILL BE DOING THIS ONLINE THEN I'LL DO THE PRACTIAL AT OUR LOCAL COLLAGE. WE NEED TO GET A FOOT HOLD IN THE SYSTEM HERE IN MISSOURI WE STILL HAVE THE POWER AND I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM FELLOW MISSOURIANS AND EVEN OTHERS OUT THERE ON WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO BE ENVOLVED IN THERE COMMUNITYS . WE CAN TURN THIS AROUND IN OUR FAVOR . TO SIT BEHIND YOUR LITTLE SCREEN AND COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SYSTEM AND DO NOTHING ABOUT IT IS UNPRODUCTIVE AND ONLY HURTS OUR CAUSE IN THE FACK WE GO UNHERD OUR VOICE'S BECOME BUT MEAR WISPPERS ON THE WIND EASLY LOST . I UNDERSTAND MOST OF US HAVE MORE ON THERE MIND'S TO WORRY ABOUT THAN RUNNING FOR OFFICE WE HAVE MONEY,HOUSE PAYMENTS, KID'S, COLLAGE TO PAY FOR AND THIS IS TO NAME A FEW.BUT THE COST OF INACTION CAN BE FAR MORE THAN WE THOUGHT . WE HAVE THE POWER WEHAVE THE STRENTH WE HAVE THE MOTIVATION WE HAVE THE KNOLAGE AND THAT IS POWER SO LET'S ALL STAND UP AND BE HERD FOR WE ARE THE PEOPLE . AND OUR GOVERMENT WAS FORMED BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE--LONG LIVE THE PEOPLE--

NOW ON THE SIDE OF PREPPING WE HAVE NOT COVERD JERKEY ENOUGH AND I FEAR IT'S LACKING IN MANY PREP'S MOST OF YOU A FAMILER WITH THE SUMMERSAUSAGE STYLE JERKY WE ALL BUY IN STORE'S . THE TYPE OF JERKY I'M TALKING ABOUT FOR PREP'S IS DRY JERKY AND I MEAN DRY HERE IS HOW I DO IT
  1. FIRST YOU WILL WANT ANY LEAN MEAT TRIM ALL THE FAT OFF (THAT'S WHAT GO'S BAD-RANSID) BEEF , CHICKEN. DEER , ELK ,TURKEY .
  2. NEXT YOU WANT TO PUT IT IN THE FREEZER AND FREEZE TILL ICE CYSTALS FORM I;E REALY STIFF .
  3. THEN WHILE IT'S FREEZING YOU WANT TO MIX TOGETHER --20 - 40OZ SOY SAUCE --20-40 OZ WISASHERE SAUCE --2-4 TABLESPOONS EACH --GARLIC POWDER ,PEPPER ,ONION POWDER .
  4. 1 CUP BROWNSUGER
  5. 1 5OZ BOTTLE LIQUED SMOKE
  6. 1 20 OZ BOTTLE COKE
  7. 2 TABLESPOONS TOMATO PASTE
  8. MIX ALL INGRENTS TOGETHER WELL IN LARGE BOWL
  9. NEXT THIN SLICE ALL MEAT NO THICKER THAN 1/8 INCH(YOU CAN HAVE THIS DONE AT THE STORE YOU BOUGHT THE MEAT) PLACE MEAT IN MIXTURE ,STIR
  10. PLACE MEAT IN ZIPLOCK BAGS AND COVER WITHE MIXTURE.
  11. PUT BAGS IN LARGE BACKING DISH IN FRIDGE
  12. LEAVE THERE 24-48 HRS TURNING AND SHACKING BAGS AT LEAST 4 TIMES A DAY.
  13. OVEN PREP IS AS FOLLOWS REMOVE RACKS
  14. CLEAN RACKS WITH SOAP AND WATER
  15. COVER BOTTOM OF OVEN IN FOIL (CHANGE AS NEEDED TO PREVENT BURNNING)I MAKE MINE INTO A BOWL SO DRIPPINS DONT SPILL.
  16. I LIKE TO TAKE A METAL COAT HANGER AND MAKE HANGERS FOR SHISKABOB SKEWERS ON BOTTOM OF MY RACKS SO I CAN DRY MORE AT ONE TIME MAKING SURE NO MEAT IS TOUCHING EACH OTHER .IF YOU HAVE A LARGE OVER YOU CAN GET 2 RACKS IN IT .
  17. OR YOU CAN PLACE MEAT DIRECTLY ON RACKS MAKING SURE NO MEAT IS TOUCHING EACH OTHER.
  18. HANG OR LIE MEAT ON RACKS (I PAT MINE DRY WITH A RAG)
  19. SET OVEN AT 160-170 DEG
  20. DRY AT LEAST 8 HRS OR UNTELL MEAT SPLINTERS WHEN BENT.
  21. PLACE DRYED MEAT IN BACKING PAN TO COOL WHEN COOL VACUEM SEAL IN QUINTY OF CHOICE .STORE IN COOL DRY PLACE OR FREZE.

THIS JERKY IS EXTREAMLY DRY AND CAN BE EATEN AS IS OR PLACED IN STEWS,CHILI OR ANY OTHER DISH --AS ALWAYS KEEP YOUR POWDER DRY--MAGGOG

Thanks for the awesome post and the beef jerky recipe - I copied and printed it for my recipe book - hope you don't mind!
Now I am off to read the rest of your posts - I sure do hope that they are as good as this one (but that's alot to live up to! haha!)
