SURVIVAL ON THE CHEAP

I'M ONE WHO HATES HANDOUTS BUT!! HARD TIMES DEMAND HARD CHOICES. A FRIEND OF MINE TURNED ME ON TO THIS DEAL WHEN I WAS COMPLAING ABOUT NOT HAVEING ENOUGH PREPS OR THE MONEY TO BUY THEM.MY FRIEND IS DIRT POOR SO HE DOES WHAT HE HAS TO TO SURVIVE. THEY HAVE THIS FOOD GIVAWAY EVERY MONTH AND MY FRIEND SAYS WHAT THEY DON'T GIVEAWAY THEY TRASH(GOVERMENT WASTE). SO I SENT MY WIFE DOWN TO CK IT OUT AND SHE CAME HOME WITH 3 BOXES STUFFED WITH ALL SORTS OF STUFF HERE IS A LITTLE OF WHAT SHE HAS BROUGHT HOME DOR THE LAST YEAR NOT INCLUDING 200+ CANNED GOODS, 14 HAMS , 18 CHICKENS AND MISC OUTHER MEATS. SPICES ,BATH SOAP, SHAMPOO ,LAUNDTY SOAP ECT. THEY WANT PAY STUBS BUT A SMALL PRICE TO PAY.
THIS IS A JUST A ESTAEMENT OF WHAT WAS SENT HOME I GIVE ALOT TO OTHER MEMBERS OF MY INLAWS.WHO AS ALWAYS NEVER PLAN AHEAD. -----------------AS ALWAYS KEEP YOUR POWDER DRY----MADDOG----

Dawg, I'm with ya on the no-handouts rule, but Ike learnt me real fast to keep separate Pride and Necessity.

Hey Maddog, if it's free, it's me. Most times like you mention the gov is gonna just waste this stuff anyway. If I can use it brother I'm gonna be there. I'm with Cygnus on this man. Pride doesn't fill you belly until you take a bite.

I worked with a guy that said he didn't take handouts, food stamps, ect. He said that if he couldn't make it on his own, it was time to throw in the towel. One day last week he said that he was leaving for a better job. One that paid $22.0 bucks an hour. I said, wow, what will you be doing. He said, building bridges. I said, that's a good job to get in tough times like this. He said, yeah, it's goverment funded! I didn't say a word ...
